"Farewell Salute"
The last Crusader cat shot was made from the French carrier Foch while steaming south of Toulon, France.
At 1745 hours on 28 October 1999, capitaine de frégate Antoine Guillot, the commanding officer of Flotille 12F,  was launched in "Lascar" no. 11.  The cat officer used his ceremonial sword to make the signal for this historic occasion.
